Speaking about the rise in crimes against women, RJD leader Tejashwi said on Saturday,“Not only Muzaffarpur shelter home where minor girls became victims of sexual assault but we have also been receiving reports of similar incidents from shelter houses located in Banka, Darbhanga, Hajipur, Saran, and Gopalganj.” “Chief Minister Nitish Kumar must break his silence on the issue. Tejashwi Yadav says that the case was transferred to CBI after he visited Muzaffarpur shelter home to assess the situation and demanded Nitish Kumar’s resignation on moral grounds. Muzaffarpur shelter home issue had surfaced in March after Mumbai based Tata Institute of Social Sciences found sexual assault victims.
