Here's a Complete List of All Upcoming Expressways Proposed by Indian Government
News 18Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Wednesday informed Rajya Sabha that the National Highway Authority of India is building over 1.47 lakh km of roads in the country. Amas-Darbhanga Expressway – 230 km Darbhanga Expressway by NHAI is an approved 4 lane access-controlled highway in Bihar with a route alignment connecting the outskirts of Aurangabad – Gaya – Patna – Darbhanga in Bihar. Ballia Link Expressway The Ballia Link Expressway by UPEIDA stretches for 35km in Uttar Pradesh is a proposed 6 lane access-controlled highway connecting Ballia district on the UP-Bihar border with Purvanchal Expressway. Buxar – Bhagalpur Expressway The Buxar – Bhagalpur by Bihar’s RCD runs for 350km and is a proposed 4 lane access-controlled highway with a route alignment parallel to Ganga River connecting Buxar with Bhagalpur. Ganga Expressway Phase-2 The 594-km Ganga Expressway project by UPEIDA was an approved 6 lane greenfield access-controlled highway with a route alignment connecting NH-334 in Meerut District with NH-2 at Prayagraj Bypass in Prayagraj District.
