Aussie UFC king Alex Volkanovski insists he can become champ in TWO divisions like Conor McGregor
If all goes according to plan for Aussie featherweight champ Alex Volkanovski, he'll soon join a very exclusive club of UFC fighters who've held titles in two weight divisions. Only Conor McGregor, Amanda Nunes, Daniel Cormier and Henry Cejudo have reigned as 'champ champs' who've dominated in two divisions, and Volkanovski intends to join their ranks after fighting Max Holloway at UFC 276 on Sunday. Volkanovski is confident of winning his third bout against Max Holloway and moving up to lightweight If the Aussie captures that belt he'd join Conor McGregor in a very exclusive club of two-weight champions - and he'd love to fight the Irishman down the track 'I want to move up and hold both belts. 'I won't put on weight for the move up,' he told News Corp. Volkanovski's last fight was a one-sided demolition of the Korean Zombie at UFC 273 Charles Oliveira owns the lightweight belt the Aussie is after - and he'd be a mountain to climb as he is riding an 11-fight winning streak 'I'm comfortable where I'm at.
