Read our privacy policy Six in 10 people have already started planning overseas trips for 2023, according to research. This is a higher proportion than last year, when half of people were planning their 2022 trips, American Express found. More than a quarter of people planning 2023 getaways said they want to have something to look forward to in the colder months. Nikki Edelman, vice-president at American Express, said: “With the new year on the horizon, many of us are planning trips away in 2023, booking in advance to secure deals on transport and accommodation.” Some 2,000 people were surveyed across the UK between October 28 and November 1.
