The NBA has stated that officials of Tuesday night's Game 5 between the Knicks and 76ers missed a critical travel on Philadelphia star Tyrese Maxey. Maxey's effort helped the 76ers push their Eastern Conference first-round playoff series to a Game 6 on Tuesday night thanks to a pair of clutch 3-pointers with under 30 seconds left in regulation against the Knicks. Maxey scored 46 points in the win, including 17-for-30 from the field and seven 3-pointers Maxey launched himself into Robinson to start his 4-point play that helped the 76ers win Josh Hart missed one of two free throws to give the Knicks a 3-point lead with 15.1 seconds left. The other calls to be identified as incorrect include a clock error, when there should have been 0.4 seconds left on the last play of regulation instead of having the clock run out, giving the Knicks one desperation chance to win the game before overtime.
