Dongsheng makes China's top 100 districts in 2024
China DailyDongsheng district, in Ordos city of North China's Inner Mongolia autonomous region ranked 85th on the list of China's top 100 districts for urban economic development, according to a research report recently released by CCID Consulting. The report adheres to a "dual threshold" principle, requiring a regional GDP exceeding 80 billion yuan and general public budget revenue surpassing 2 billion yuan for evaluation across five key dimensions: economic strength, growth momentum, endogenous support, regional governance level, and inclusive development. In 2023, Dongsheng achieved a regional GDP of 103.05 billion yuan, an 11-percent year-on-year growth and the highest in the city. Additionally, its general public budget revenue reached 7.95 billion yuan, a 3.8 percent increase.
