Fired from RSS-run school for not donating for Ram temple, alleges UP teacher
A teacher in UP's Ballia district was reportedly fired from an RSS-run school after he refused to donate a sum of Rs 1,000 for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya. Yashwant Pratap Singh, a schoolteacher of Saraswati Shishu Mandir in Jagdishpur locality, has also asserted that the school has held back his eight months’ salary. On the arrival of the district “pracharak” of the Rasthriya Swyamsewak Sangh at the school, the school authority began forcing Singh to donate the money. On refusing to succumb to pressure, the school authorities "misbehaved" and fired him from the school, Singh alleged, adding that he has submitted a written complaint in this regard at the district magistrate’s office and will approach a court if justice is not served.
