NSA Ajit Doval proposes action plan against Pak-based terror groups at SCO meet
India TodayNational Security Advisor Ajit Doval has proposed an action plan against Pakistan-based terror groups Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad as part of the Shanghai Corporation Organisation. NSA Ajit Doval made the proposal during his meeting with the top security officials from the member nations of the SCO in Dushanbe. At the SCO meeting in Dushanbe, NSA Ajit Doval said there is a need to monitor new technologies used by terrorists including drones for smuggling of weapons and misuse of the dark web, artificial intelligence, blockchain and social media. India fully supports SCO Contact Group on Afghanistan, which should be more active,” NSA Ajit Doval said. In September last year, NSA Ajit Doval walked out of a virtual meeting of the SCO after the Pakistani representative projected a map that inaccurately depicted Kashmir.
