British MMA legend Dan Hardy claimed that Dana White's decision to let Francis Ngannou leave UFC has 'absolutely' proved wrong by the Cameroonian's display against Tyson Fury on Saturday. Hardy indicated while talking exclusively to Mail Sport's Alex McCarthy on new podcast The Hook that Ngannou's exit has blown up in White's face, despite his skills as a 'fantastic promoter' for the UFC. Dan Hardy told Mail Sport's The Hook that Francis Ngannou's performance 'absolutely' proved Dana White wrong White had criticised Ngannou's decision to join the PFL and claimed he was wary of facing Jon Jones 'He absolutely did prove Dana wrong,' Hardy began. Hardy continued: 'It's very unfortunate for the UFC that it coincided with Jon Jones getting injured and then losing that heavyweight title fight, because I love Tom Aspinall and I feel like Sergei Pavlovich is a very interesting and tough test for him, but they don't have the same star power that Jon Jones has got, and you're looking at six to eight months out for Jones.
