Sivakarthikeyan defends voting despite no name in voters' list: It is my duty to cast vote

Sivakarthikeyan is busy with the promotions of his upcoming flick, Mr Local, directed by M Rajesh of SMS fame. Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Satyabrata Sahoo, in an interview, said that it was a mistake on the booth officer's part to have given special permission to Sivakarthikeyan to vote. The election commission advises everyone to vote, and it is not my mistake that my name was missing from the voters' list. Like Siva, Srikanth also got 'special permission' to cast his vote. Tamil Nadu Chief Electoral Officer Satyabrata Sahoo said that necessary action will be taken against the officers who had allowed the actor to cast his vote.
