Emmy-Winning Comedian Conan O’Brien Set To Host Oscars 2025
Conan O'Brien will make his Oscars hosting debut at the 97th ceremony, according to the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. In a joint statement, Academy President Janet Yang and CEO Bill Kramer expressed their "thrill" and "honour" at having the legendary Conan O'Brien host the Oscars this year. The statement reads: “He is the perfect person to help lead our global celebration of film with his brilliant humor, his love of movies, and his live TV expertise.” Conan O'Brien responded with his trademark humour, "America demanded it and now it's happening: Taco Bell's new Cheesy Chalupa Supreme. Past Oscars Hosts Oscar hosts that have come before Conan O'Brien include celebrities such as as Hugh Jackman, Neil Patrick Harris, Chris Rock, David Letterman, Whoopi Goldberg, Hugh Jackman, and Johnny Carson, Jimmy Kimmel among others.
