Rishi Sunak on PM Modi and India Sunak also said in an interview with news agency PTI that 2023 is a huge year for India, from all the different G20 meetings taking place across the country to the Cricket World Cup in October. I pay tribute to Prime Minister Modi's leadership over the last year and it’s wonderful to see India showing such global leadership," he stated in an email to PTI The 43-year-old leader of the Conservative Party said that India has assumed the G20 Presidency at a time when the world is dealing with numerous challenges. Sunak also expressed his eagerness for the opportunity to meet with Prime Minister Modi and discuss how cooperation between India and the UK aids in addressing numerous global concerns.
