Pakistan trying to divide us but we’ll win as one: Modi in video conference
Live MintNew Delhi: "Pakistan is trying to divide us, but India will fight, live, work and win as one", said Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, a day after Pakistani fighter jets violated Indian air space in response to Indian Air Force's Balakot air strike that destroyed a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist training camp in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa region of Pakistan. He was interacting with about one crore BJP workers in 15,000 locations through what the party said was the "world's largest video conference". Breaking his silence on the capture of an IAF pilot, Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman, by Pakistan on Wednesday, Modi said India trusted its security forces and that citizens should be careful of doing anything that may demoralize those at the border. "2014 was mandate for fulfilling people's necessities, Elections 2019 will be about fulfilling people's aspirations," Modi said.
