KCR, Owaisi Scared of BJP: Bandi
Deccan ChronicleKARIMNAGAR: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, who had boasted that his party was going to contest in all 119 Assembly segments, fielded only nine candidates in the fray in the old city of Hyderabad after coming to a ‘secret pact’ with Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, alleged MP and BJP candidate Bandi Sanjay Kumar. Addressing a party meeting in Karimnagar on Saturday, Bandi termed Owaisi and BRS chief KCR as cowards to fight against BJP individually. When the MIM could convert the 12 per cent of Muslim minorities as its vote bank to win the seats in old city, why not the BJP transform the 80 per cent of Hindus as its vote bank to win the elections, Bandi said. Unlike the BRS leaders who play cheap politics and gimmicks to win elections, the BJP always believes in the Hindu ideology and strives for its victory on the same theme, he iterated.
