UDF will provide permanent solution for human-wildlife conflicts when it returns to power, Satheesan

Leader of the Opposition V.D. Satheesan has said if the United Democratic Front comes to power, it will provide a permanent solution for human-wildlife conflicts. “If the Left Democratic Front fails to find a solution, the UDF will address all these issues when it returns to power,” he said. Mr. Satheesan also pointed out that the government tried to introduce a forest law that grants excessive powers to officials, which led to the announcement of the UDF protest. Constant threats Mr. Hassan said that farmers and tribal people are unable to cultivate their land due to the constant threats posed by wild animals.
