Classified documents found at Mike Pence’s home after he “repeatedly said he did not have any”
SalonAt a time when U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland has appointed special counsels to investigate classified documents found at the homes of President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, classified documents have also been found in the home of another major figure in U.S. politics: former Vice President Mike Pence. According to CNN reporters Jamie Gangel, Jeremy Herb and Evan Perez, an attorney for Pence "discovered about a dozen documents marked as classified" inside Pence's Indiana home. The CNN journalists report, on January 24, "The discovery comes after Pence has repeatedly said he did not have any classified documents in his possession. Pence asked his lawyer to conduct the search of his home out of an abundance of caution, and the attorney began going through four boxes stored at Pence's house last week, finding a small number of documents with classified markings, the sources said."
