Prithviraj Sukumaran opens up about casting Aamir Khan's sister Nikhat in Empuraan

Malayalam star Prithviraj Sukumaran had no idea that one of his next actors that he would cast in L2: Empuraan would turn out to be Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan's sister. Nikhat has previously acted in in the short film, Khidkiyan, and the Shah Rukh Khan-Deepika Padukone starrer, Pathaan, as well as projects such as Tanhaji and Saand ki Aankh, among others. Empuraan is the sequel to Lucifer, which marked Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial debut. The star cast of Empuraan features Mohanlal, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Tovino Thomas, Manju Warrier, Saniya Iyappan, Suraj Venjaramoodu among several others.
