The Northern Territory government is yet to release data on vaccination rates of public servants working in schools, healthcare and the police force ahead of the looming deadline for its vaccine mandate. Education bracing for staff losses An Education Department spokeswoman said the department was “closely monitoring the data and working with our schools to identify whether additional resources to schools will be required”. “As his government has promoted the broadest mandate in the country, with a short implementation time frame, ministers should provide some explanation of how gaps will be plugged after Friday.” Police numbers uncertain NT Police Association president Paul McCue said a group of police officers may be forced to stay at home after Friday.
