Quzhou to become aviation hub for four provinces

Aiming to establish itself as an aviation hub for these four provinces, Quzhou Airport is investing approximately 210 million yuan to expand and renovate, which focuses on enhancing the apron, terminal, and air traffic control facilities and is designed to handle an annual passenger throughput of 1 million. With the rapid growth of civil aviation, Quzhou Airport currently operates 25 routes, covering major cities such as Beijing, Shenzhen, and Guangzhou. Statistics show that this year, Quzhou handled nearly 10,000 flights, with a passenger throughput of over 880,000, marking a 17.4 percent increase compared to previous years, which one day is expected to exceed 1 million.
