When Uri: The Surgical Strike hit the screens in January this year, little did the makers know that the war drama will turn out to be one of the the biggest success stories in Bollywood this year. After entering the Rs 200-crore club in less than a month of its release, Aditya Dhar's directorial venture has now completed 100 days in cinemas. Aditya Dhar, who made his directorial debut with Uri: The Surgical Strike, took to Twitter to make the announcement. pic.twitter.com/hx0vS4AaBZ Aditya Dhar April 20, 2019 Uri is based on the surgical strike carried out by the Indian Army on seven terrorist launchpads across the Line of Control on September 29, 2016, in retaliation to a terrorist attack on an army camp at Uri earlier that month. Interestingly, 100 days of Uri coincides with 7 years of her debut film Vicky Donor.
