Centre for Digital Health and Precision Medicine launched in Chittoor

The Apollo University, in partnership with Apollo Hospitals and the University of Leicester, U.K., inaugurated the Centre for Digital Health and Precision Medicine at its campus, here on Monday. The initiative aims to create a global hub for innovative healthcare research, leveraging digital health and precision medicine to transform patient care. Apollo University Vice-Chancellor Vinod Bhat, University of Leicester Vice-Chancello Nishan Canagarajah emphasised the collaboration’s potential to redefine global healthcare standards and foster transformative research and education. Professor of Cardiology at the University of Leicester Sir Nilesh J. Samani, and Adjunct Faculty at The Apollo University and Chief Medical Information Officer at Apollo Hospitals Dr. Sujoy Kar will serve as co-directors.
