In a press briefing, US Department of State spokesperson Matthew Miller said, " We believe it’s critical that Canada’s investigation proceed and that the perpetrators be brought to justice. He reiterated that the US is "deeply concerned" by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau's allegations made last week of "credible evidence" of the Indian government's role behind Nijjar's killing in British Columbia on June 18.
