NSW Police probing alleged criminal offences committed during Strike Force Jagelman
ABCA New South Wales police strike force has been established to probe alleged criminal offences committed during an historical investigation. It has emerged that the NSW Police Professional Standards Command launched Strike Force Mari in February to look into the historical investigation known as Strike Force Jagelman. Strike Force Jagelman was a criminal and departmental investigation into allegations of serious misconduct by then-serving officers attached to the Central West Police District in 2018. Strike Force Mari is investigating Strike Force Jagelman and the way it was led and managed, including the alleged lack of impartiality by Superintendent Bruce Grassick, who is currently with the Tamworth-based Oxley Police District. Strike Force Jagelman was initially launched to investigate then-detective sergeant Steven Brett Howard, who was based at Parkes with the Central West Police District.
