Shoaib Akhtar slams Mohammed Amir tells him to 'grow up' and sort out his differences with team management
India TodayFormer Pakistan pacer Shoaib Akhter slammed fellow pacer Mohammed Amir for acting like an ‘immature' and asked him to sort out his differences with the national team management and make a comeback. In December last year, Amir shocked everyone by retiring from the limited over forms of international cricket, following a fall-out with Pakistan head coach Misbah-ul-Haq and bowling coach Waqar Younis. Akhtar reminded Amir that he should be grateful to the former PCB chairman Najam Sethi, who had a massive role in bringing him back into international cricket post his ban. To his credit, Amir won some crucial matches for Pakistan in the Champions Trophy, which included the final, but after that, his performances deteriorated.” Akhtar supported coach Misbah’s stance on Amir.
