Question linking RSS with terror groups in UP university exam paper sparks row

A controversy erupted at a Uttar Pradesh government-run university in Meerut after a question paper had a question that allegedly clubbed Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh with terror organisations. The controversy arose after a question in the second semester political science exam held on April 2 allegedly linked the RSS to the rise in religious and caste-based politics. As the matter came to light, members of the Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, the students' wing of RSS, held protests on the campus of Chaudhary Charan Singh University on Friday and submitted a memorandum to the registrar. The university found out that the professor, Seema Panwar, a political science teacher from the affiliate Meerut College, had set up the question paper.
