Visakhapatnam: The Eastern Naval Command organised the inaugural Veterans’ Day Parade at RK Beach on Saturday to commemorate the 9th Armed Forces Veterans’ Day. Flag officers, ENC personnel, senior civil dignitaries, National Cadet Corps contingents, Sea Cadet Corps, and students from Sainik School Korukonda were among the attendees. Vice Admiral Pendharkar expressed gratitude to veterans for their unwavering service and reaffirmed the Navy’s commitment to the welfare of its retired personnel and their families. The parade marked a milestone in honouring India’s heroes, reinforcing the enduring bond between serving and retired Armed Forces members.
