A 44-member team from Uttar Pradesh reaches Vijayawada as part of Centre’s youth exchange programme

The Hindu

A team of 44 students and young professionals, drawn from various educational institutions in Uttar Pradesh, has arrived at the School of Planning and Architecture, Vijayawada, as part of the ‘Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat” initiative of the Union Ministry of Education. The youth exchange programme aims to foster unity in diversity, cultural exchange and experiential learning among the youth across the country. The visit marks the 5th phase of ‘Yuva Sangham’ wherein Andhra Pradesh is paired with Uttar Pradesh. The organisers plan to take the visitors around beaches and the development projects taking place in Amaravati landscape, facilitate interaction between them and artisans of Kondapalli toys, Pedana Kalamkari and Mangalagiri sarees and provide them insights into Andhra Pradesh’s infrastructural progress and the technological advances the State had achieved.
