Shandong city to conduct nucleic acid tests on arrivals

Yantai city in Shandong province will provide free nucleic acid tests for all travelers arriving from abroad amid efforts to prevent and control novel coronavirus pneumonia, the city’s government said on Wednesday afternoon. The city established a joint prevention and control mechanism at Yantai International Airport on Tuesday to examine travelers’ health conditions and has set up special channels for them, according to the Information Office of the People’s Government of Yantai. After health exams, people having a negative result from nucleic acid tests will be sent to their destinations by designated vehicles.
