Devajit Saikia files nomination for BCCI Secretary, Prabhtej Singh Bhatia set to succeed Ashish Shelar as treasurer
The HinduDevajit Saikia, the incumbent joint-secretary of the Board of Control for Cricket in India has filed his nomination for the secretary’s post, which has been lying vacant since December last year after Jay Shah moved to the International Cricket Council as its chair. As reported by Sportstar earlier, Chhattisgarh’s Prabhtej Singh Bhatia is set to succeed Ashish Shelar as the treasurer after he was the lone applicant for the position. The draft electoral list did not feature any representatives from the Cricket Association of Bengal even though the association recommended Snehasish Ganguly as its representative after the deadline got over.
