Maneka Gandhi Announces Study on Prevalence of Male Child Sexual Abuse

Maneka Gandhi, the Minister for Women and Child Development, has responded to an online petition demanding a study on male child sexual abuse. In response, she has extended an invitation to conduct the first-ever study on prevalence of male CSA. The study will be conducted by the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) with the aim of understanding the reasons and mind sets that perpetuate rapes and to develop preventive measures.
