Toronto man 'The Dictator' extradited to US on drug and murder charges

Andrew Clark, a 34-year-old Toronto man known as "The Dictator," has been extradited to the United States, where he faces multiple charges related to murder and drug trafficking. "I can confirm Clark is in the United States and in federal custody," Ciaran McEvoy, a spokesperson for US Attorney's office in Los Angeles was quoted as saying by CBS News. Mexican authorities reportedly announced Clark's arrest in October last year during a high-profile operation involving the Mexican Navy. Clark’s role allegedly included ordering several murders, including a 2023 mistaken-identity shooting in Caledon, Ontario, where an Indian couple visiting their children was killed, and their daughter was seriously wounded.
