BERT SILVESTRI PECKVILLE Big financial barrier to wall construction Editor: With President Donald Trump seeking $5.7 billion for his wall I’d be interested to know if anyone has really looked at the potential cost. What is it about Washington, D.C., that makes people think that money is no object when it comes to pet projects, such as Alaska’s “bridge to nowhere?” I wonder what Trump will do when he sees aliens crossing where his wall isn’t, or if he sees welders workers on the other side.
