#whatsyourissue: Bringing our lakes back to good health

With the city, and the state, staring at water scarcity, this is perhaps the best time to look at the health of lakes in Bengaluru. Over the past week, The Hindu ’s #whatsyourissue campaign highlighted some of the problems that have been troubling our lakes, as well as possible solutions. After the article was published, the local councillor Hanumanthu G. promised to strengthen the diversion canal around Uttarahalli and continue the process of putting effective microbial solution to tackle the smell in the lake.
