Procedure to suspend Param Bir Singh has begun: Dilip Walse-Patil

Former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh will be suspended soon for his “indiscipline and other irregularities”, said Maharashtra Home Minister Dilip Walse-Patil. “We're in the process of taking legal action against former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh for his indiscipline and other irregularities. The current Mumbai Police Commissioner, Hemant Nagrale, has been instructed to conduct an inquiry into Param Bir Singh’s meeting with dismissed cop Sachin Vaze.
