No flaw in Ram temple construction: Misra
Hindustan TimesAYODHYA/LUCKNOW Ram Temple Construction Committee chairman Nripendra Misra on Tuesday ruled out any flaw in the construction of the temple and asserted there was no water accumulation in its sanctum sanctorum while rejecting the claim of chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das regarding seepage of rainwater from the temple’s roof. Alleging negligence in the construction of the temple, Ram Janmabhoomi temple chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das had on Monday alleged that there was no arrangement for the draining out of rainwater from the temple premises. “As the temple is open, therefore in case of heavy showers, rainwater might come inside the temple’s sanctum sanctorum,” said Misra. Alleging negligence in the construction of the temple, Ram Janmabhoomi temple chief priest Acharya Satyendra Das had on Monday alleged that there was no arrangement for the draining out of rainwater from the temple premises, after the showers on Saturday midnight, and urged temple authorities to take corrective measures.
