Supreme Court of India Today has reserved its Judgment in Appeals filed against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s acquittal in the disproportionate assets Case,The Bench comprising of Justices P.C. Supreme Court of India Today has reserved its Judgment in Appeals filed against Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa’s acquittal in the disproportionate assets Case, The Bench comprising of Justices P.C. The Karnataka government filed the Appeal on 23rd June, 2015 saying that the Karnataka High Court’s judgment was a “farce”, and that “arithmetical errors made the judgment illegal”. Jayalalitha and three of her associates were acquitted in the Disproportionate Assets case by a single judge of the Karnataka High Court in May 2015.
