Dongying sets new record in intl trade

According to Dongying Customs, Dongying achieved an international trade value of 135.91 billion yuan in the first half of this year, exceeding 130 billion yuan for the first time and reaching a historic high for the same period. Private enterprises dominate foreign trade, accounting for 86.1 percent of Dongying's total trade in the first half of this year, with 117.07 billion yuan in imports and exports, a 2.4 percent increase. State-owned enterprises, however, saw a significant rise of 398.6 percent, totaling 17.61 billion yuan and representing 13 percent of the total trade value. In the first half of this year, Dongying's bonded logistics reached 63.3 billion yuan, up 60.8 percent and 46.6 percent of the city's total trade.
