Sanjay Raut Sparks Controversy, Alleges Modi-Pakistan Collusion for Poll Gain
Deccan ChronicleMumbai: Shiv Sena UBT leader Sanjay Raut has courted controversy by claiming that Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connivance with Pakistan would have dropped a bomb to win the 2024 general elections. “Had Congress won in Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan, Modi in collusion with Pakistan would have dropped one of the bombs before the 2024 general elections. Votes would have been sought by claiming Pakistan’s hand in the Kashmir violence and giving slogans of “Desh Khatre mein hain.” But hopefully these plans would have been put on a backburner after the win in three states,” Raut said in his weekly column Rokhthok in the Shiv Sena mouthpiece Saamana on Sunday. States like Kerala, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh will also play an important role, then there will be more danger in 2024,” Raut said, referring to Madhya Pradesh Congress chief Kamal Nath who led the party campaign in the state.
