Puducherry schools to reopen for Classes 1 to 8 from Monday

On Friday, the Puducherry Education Minister, A Namassivayam, announced that all schools in Puducherry and Karaikal regions will resume classes for students of Classes 1 to 8 from Monday. The Director of School Education mentioned that classes will take place half a day for students of 1 to 8 on alternative days. Schools for students of classes 9 to 12 have been going on for some time now, with all the necessary Covid-19 protocols.
