Ready to head KPCC, says Rajanna
The HinduRajanna said on Sunday that he has conveyed to the Congress authorities that he is ready to head the Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee by quitting as a Minister. Speaking to press persons in Udupi on the background of Congress Legislature Party meeting scheduled on Monday the Minister said that he did not place any demand to make him as president of KPCC. “There is no question of demanding the KPCC chief’s post by filing an application,” he said adding: “I am an aspirant to the post to build the party.” The CLP meeting in Bengaluru assumes significance in the wake of a group of leaders holding meetings and issuing statements on the tenure of the Chief Minister and change of the KPCC president.
