'Tell Sri Lanka to stop attacks on fishermen': Tamil Nadu CM Stalin writes to Centre

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M K Stalin wrote a strongly-worded letter to External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar about the attacks on fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy. Stalin shot the letter to the Centre after the Sri Lankan Navy attacked six Indian fishermen on Thursday, February 23. In the letter addressed to Jaishankar, CM Stalin said, "with a deep sense of anguish, I write this to intimate you about yet another incident of attack by the Sri Lankan Navy on 6 Indian fishermen on February 23. "As they were engaged in fishing in the traditional sea waters, they were brutally attacked with by the Sri Lankan Navy personnel at around 4.30am on 23rd February," said the DMK supremo.
