With the coronavirus pandemic refusing to slow down, Google has some new working plans for its employees. A report claims that Google is planning to make its 200,000 full-time and contract employees work remotely until July 2021. “To give employees the ability to plan ahead, we are extending our global voluntary work from home option through June 30, 2021, for roles that don’t need to be in the office,” the email obtained by The Verge read. Google earlier had plans to reopen some of its offices for employees by July 6, 2020 things didn’t happen as planned as Google has now extended the joining date till July 2021. Talking about Facebook’s work from home plans, Zuckerberg had told The Verge, “We’re going to allow people to request to be a permanent remote worker at some point.
