24-year-old pianist Luo Wei plays Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No 3 in Beijing on Oct 21. Marking the 150th anniversary of the birth of Sergei Rachmaninoff, the concert featured pianist Luo Wei, playing the Russian pianist and composer's Piano Concerto No 3 in D Minor, Op 30. Under the baton of conductor Lin Daye, China National Symphony Orchestra performed in a concert at Beijing Concert Hall on Oct 21, featuring pianist Luo Wei. This summer, Luo released her latest album, Gazing, featuring music works, such as Spanish composer Isaac Albeniz's Iberia, Book I, and Russian composer Mily Balakirev's Islamey, Oriental Fantasy.
