Re-investigate ex-MP family kidnap case: JS leader

Visakhapatnam: Jana Sena leader Peethala Murthy Yadav has demanded reinvestigation into the case related to the kidnapping of former Visakhapatnam MP M.V.V. Murthy Yadav told media on Saturday that a year has passed since the kidnap, yet the mystery surrounding the case remains unresolved. He charged that gangsters are involved in the case, whom, the JS leader alleged, MVV and GV have used to amass thousands of crores-worth property, along with political power. He accused leaders of previous government and police officials of neglecting the kidnap case, which is not simple as it appears but part of an extortion scheme wherein innocent people, NRIs and property owners have lost their assets.
