Four-time MP Manda Jagannadham passes away

Former member of Parliament Manda Jagannadham passed away on Sunday while undergoing treatment at the Nizam’s Institute of Medical Sciences. He contested as the Congress candidate and won in the 2009 elections and was one of the prominent voices for separate Telangana in the Parliament. Mr. Jaganndham was denied a ticket in the 2019 elections by the TRS but appointed as the State government’s Special Representative in New Delhi in 2022. Union Minister Bandi Sanjay, Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar, BRS leaders K. T. Rama Rao, Harish Rao and TPCC president Mahesh Goud were among those who offered condolences.
