UKSSSC paper leak: STF begins attaching ₹6 cr illegal property of key accused

The special task force of Uttarakhand police on Saturday began the procedure for the attachment of ₹ 6 crores worth of property acquired by Hakam Singh Rawat, one of the main accused in the Uttarakhand subordinate service selection commission paper leak case. Accused Hakam Singh Rawat in STF custody in Dehradun after he was arrested in August this year Rawat is said to be one of the “masterminds”, who played a key role in the paper leak case. The detailed report has been sent to the district magistrate, Dehradun, for attachment/confiscation of Singh’s illegally acquired movable and immovable property worth ₹ 6 crores,” Aggarwal said. On July 22, a case was registered at Raipur police station in Dehradun in connection with the paper leak following the instructions of chief minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to DGP Ashok Kumar.
