Walbundrie local Graeme 'Snow' McMaster knows what a thriving agricultural show means to the community – the 75-year-old has been volunteering at the Walbundrie Show for 60 years. Snow knows more than most why the show's return on Monday's public holiday, after a two-year break due to COVID, has been "a great sight to see" for the town's economy and sense of community. upwards of 100 people just in the shearing comp, let alone everyone else in the show – all the rides and show cars – it's been great to see. "Our little community suffered through COVID but it's good to see them back here." Town publican Adam StJohn said the local show, the recent Henty Machinery Field Days event and the region's football finals meant a large number of people had been pouring into the community over the past month.
