Budget Session: Assembly sat for 15 days, clocked 85 hours and 52 minutes

VIJAYAWADA The Budget Session of the 16th Legislative Assembly was adjourned sine die by the Speaker Ch. The House sat for a total of 15 days and the number of hours clocked by it stood at 85 hours and 52 minutes. According to a press release by Secretary General S. Prasanna Kumar, a total of 113 starred questions and two short notice questions were answered orally and a total of 37 starred questions were placed on the Table of the House. Three short notice questions were placed on the Table of the House and all the nine Bills introduced were passed. The number of speeches made by the members has been pegged at 127, five short discussions were held, one discussion was held under Rule 344 and two discussions under Rule 74.
