Trained youngsters given AC toolkits and sewing machines in Puttaparthi
The HinduThe Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations of Andhra Pradesh undertook various initiatives to support the financial empowerment of 100 youth from Singh Nagar locality in Vijayawada, whose lives were affected by the recent floods in the State. The organisation conducted a free 30-day training programme in AC, refrigerator and washing machine mechanics for 50 young men, and a free 40-day training programme in tailoring and fashion designing for another 50 women. Managing trustee of Sri Sathya Sai Central Trust R.J. Rathnakar distributed 50 AC toolkits to the young men, while 50 motorised sewing machines were gifted to the trained women. Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation Executive Director K. Dinesh Kumar, National Seva Dal Coordinator of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations, Koteshwar Rao, Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations State president, R. Lakshmana Rao, and others participated in the programme.
