Michael Chiesa and Conor McGregor have reached a settlement in their civil suit following the UFC 223 bus attack The Irishman alongside members of his team attacked a bus carrying fighters prior to UFC 223 in 2018 Chiesa filed the suit in 2018 after he was forced to withdraw from his fight with Anthony Pettis at UFC 223 due to injuries he sustained in McGregor's infamous attack prior to the event. Following an altercation involving Khabib Nurmagomedov and McGregor's then-training partner Artem Lobov prior to the event, McGregor and a number of his teammates stormed the area where the bus containing fighters was situated. McGregor plead guilty to disorderly conduct and was ordered to complete community service following the incident The former two-weight world champion has not fought since suffering a broken leg against Dustin Poirier last year After being unable to compete in his scheduled bout, Chiesa filed a number of charges against the Irishman including assault, negligence, negligent infliction of emotional distress, intentional infliction of emotional distress, and battery.
